In order to better support RGS customers who have purchased SUSE Product entitlements, RGS has built our own 'SUSE Customer Center' clone, called the 'RGS Customer Center'. This is a clone of the SUSE entitlement platform running on RGS Infrastructure.
RGS customers must reconfigure their systems (SLES / SLEM, RMTs, SMTs, SUSE Managers, etc) to connect to the RGSCC located at 'rgscc.ranchergovernment.com', instead of the usual 'scc.suse.com'.
Critical Endpoints
If customers need to whitelist endpoints for egress out of their network, here are the three FQDNs that will need to have whitelisted (and resolved IPs).
**NOTE**: All FQDNs below resolve to the same set of IPs in AWS GovCloud
-
rgscc.ranchergovernment.com
- RGSCC Registration & API Endpoint
-
updates.ranchergovernment.com
- RGSCC CDN for RPMs and Patches
-
installer-updates.ranchergovernment.com
- RGSCC CDN for Installer Updates
